It seems that every event we held at the company I work at was the same. We had dinner, some drinks, some talk between work mates, then home bound. Some people like that stuff, but it was boring for a lot of us. When I suggested to my boss that he look into hiring a magician and mind reader for events in the future, I honestly did not expect him to take me seriously. I said it in a joking way, but I must have hit a soft spot in him because he told me if I could make it happen, then he would authorize it.

I am not one to back away from a challenge, especially one as fun as this could be. I went to my computer as soon as he told me that because we had an event coming up in just a few months. I knew that there was a chance all acts like this were booked already, so I was very happy when I saw a magician that had that date free. I really liked the site of the company he works for because I was able to see some videos of the magician in action.

Being able to see videos of him actually performing some of the magic tricks was pretty cool. There were only a few clips that lasted between one and two minutes, but it was enough to know that he was a true entertainer. Now, I don’t believe in magic at all, but I love to see a good magic trick, and this guy checked all the boxes. I showed the videos to my boss, and he was impressed with the magic tricks he saw too. Thankfully, the magician was free on the date of our event, and he was a huge success. I don’t think we will ever have a dull event again!
